Gov. Gregoire orders flags flown at half-staff Thursday, March 1st

OLYMPIA � Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed that flags at all Washington state agency buildings be lowered to half-staff Thursday, March 1st, in memory of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu. Radulescu was killed in the line of duty Feb. 23rd in Kitsap County. The directive coincides with Radulescu�s memorial service, which will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Thursday, or first thing Friday morning, March 2nd.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join in this recognition.
