Introduction	These records include Resolutions 101A through 1072 enacted by the Steilacoom Town Council for meetings from June 10, 1890, through September 4, 2007. Both resolution numbers 118 and 119 appear to have been used twice. There are several unnumbered resolutions, which are identified by their date of adoption. Resolutions numbers 501, 528, 529 624, are not included, while numbers 147, 515, 627 and 774 were not used. Resolutions are official or formal statements of determination, decision, or opinion passed by a council, commission, or board on matters before that body. The resolutions in this collection are indexed by date and by resolution number. The Town of Steilacoom is located in Pierce County, It was incorporated in 1854 and was the first incorporated municipality in Washington State. All records are in English.
