| Introduction |
These records include Resolutions 2 to 286 enacted by the South Prairie Town Council for meetings from August 3, 1909, through March 6, 2007. The resolutions for the Town of South Prairie are primarily found within the minutes, from which documents, these records have been taken from. Between March 1909 and March 1969, the minutes were hand-written by the town clerk/treasurer. Some entries may be difficult to read, appearing faded in the digital image. Some of the resolutions have been misnumbered and some not numbered at all, but appear in the minutes as a brief description. Unnumbered resolutions are designated by date.
Resolutions are official or formal statements of determination, decision, or opinion passed by a council, commission, or board on matters before that body. The resolutions in this collection are indexed by date and by resolution number. The Town of South Prairie is located in Pierce County. It incorporated February 1909. All records are in English. These records are open for research. Filmed by Washington State Archives, Imaging and Preservation Services and indexed by the staff of the Puget Sound Regional Branch. |
