| Introduction |
The Washington State Legislature created Ferry County on February 21, 1899. It is named in honor of Elisha P. Ferry, the tenth Territorial Governor who served from 1872 -1880. Ferry was also Washington State’s first elected state governor, serving from 1889 - 1893. There are 62 names listed on this register.
