These records include indexes and images for documents recorded with the Lewis County Auditor from 1965 to the present. The miscellaneous recordings are records the county auditor has not categorized into an existing Digital Archives record series. The Lewis County Auditor transfers recently recorded documents monthly. Please note the current year may not be complete.
For the best search results, search by name of the grantor or grantee. You may also search by year ranges. Learn about the different types of Auditors’ records in Washington and what could be included in those records by selecting the tab that says "About this Collection” here Lewis County was formed by the Provisional Government in 1845 and included any land north of the Columbia River and west of the Cowlitz River. Today, it is located in the southwestern part of the state. The county is named after the explorer, Meriwether Lewis. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
