These records include the minutes of the Puget Sound Council of Governments General Assembly meetings from September 29, 1988, to October 25, 1990.
Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the board of trustees. Minutes may include date, trustees present, summary of official reports, budget approvals, and other board business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. The Puget Sound Council of Governments was an organization of local governments in King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish Counties created to provide a forum for finding regional solutions to transportation and growth issues. Initially organized in 1957 as the Puget Sound Governmental Conference, it was reorganized as the Puget Sound Council of Governments in 1975. From 1976 it served as the federal Metropolitan Planning Organization. It dissolved in 1991 and its functions largely assumed by the Puget Sound Regional Council. All records are in English.
