This title includes indexes of land records recorded with the Clark County Auditor between 1984 and 2012. These documents relate primarily to the business of real estate and land ownership. Images are not available for documents displaying confidential information. The Clark County Auditor transfers records periodically.
For the best search results, search by name of the grantor or grantee, it is also possible to search by addition name or year. Learn about the different types of land records in Washington and what could be included in those records by selecting the tab that says "About this Collection” here Clark County began as the District of Vancouver on July 27, 1844. In 1845, the name changed to Vancouver County and included all of present day Washington and some of the surrounding areas. On September 3, 1849 the Oregon Territorial Legislature modified the borders and changed its name to Clarke County in honor of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The county seat is Vancouver. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
