Project Map

Capital Overview

The Court of Appeals serves as the intermediate appellate court for the state of Washington. Statutes give the Court exclusive appellate jurisdiction in almost all appeals from a lower court decision. The Court of Appeals must accept review of a final judgment entered in any action in Superior Court.

The Court operates in three divisions (locations) in Seattle, Tacoma, and Spokane.
