Capital Overview
The Court of Appeals serves
as the intermediate appellate court for the state of Washington.
Statutes give the Court exclusive appellate jurisdiction in almost
all appeals from a lower court decision. The Court of Appeals
must accept review of a final judgment entered in any action in
Superior Court.
The Court operates in three
divisions (locations) in Seattle, Tacoma, and Spokane.
Capital Plan Highlights
- The remodeling and addition
project for the Spokane Division III building is included in the
1997-99 Capital Plan.
