Until 1970, ordinances and resolutions were numbered together sequentially, resulting in apparent gaps in numbering. Early ordinances are in a variety of formats, including references in the minutes and clippings from published ordinances. Ordinances #3, 6, 7, 9 and 16 are located in the minutes. Ordinances # 5 and # 12 are not used.

Agency History: | The city of Issaquah was incorporated in 1892 and is located in King County. Located aproximately 17 miles east of Seattle, the city was originally named Gilman, but changed names in 1899 to Issaquah. The city adheres to a Mayor-Council form of government. |
