Agency History: | Named after local Puyallup Indian tribes in 1877 by Ezra Meeker, the City of Puyallup grew rapidly in the 1880's and was incorporated in 1890. During WWII the city's fairgrounds became the temporary internment campsite for Japanese-Americans, known as Camp Harmony. The City is located in Pierce County. |
