OLYMPIA – June 5, 2004 – Gov. Gary Locke today issued the following statement upon hearing of the passing of President Ronald Reagan:
“President Reagan fought a long and heroic battle against Alzheimer’s Disease. I was sorry to hear of his passing. As President, he had a special ability to reach out and touch the heart of optimism and hope in the American people.”
