Gov. Gary Locke’s Statement on the Supreme Court Ruling on Petition-Method Annexation

Gov. Gary Locke today issued the following statement on the Supreme Court ruling on petition-method annexation:

“I am pleased that the Court has taken this action.

“Today’s decision removes a big issue that was facing local government and will allow us to work together to address our common funding problems.”
