I am informed that a party is missing in the primitive area of Bowman Creek, County of Klickitat and that search efforts to locate this party are in need of aircraft assistance.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Daniel J. Evans, Governor of the State of Washington, by virtue of authority vested in me by Title 38, Revised Code of Washington, in order to protect life and property, do hereby order the Adjutant General of the State of Washington to place on duty such troops and aircraft of the Washington National Guard that he determines are necessary to perform the duties of aerial search and rescue for the lost party.
