SUBJECT: Summer Hours

Effective Tuesday, June 1, 1944, it shall be a general policy to shift office hours to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on week days, and, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Skeleton shifts may be maintained between 12 noon and 1 p.m. on Saturdays for compliance with Chapter 113, Laws of 1941. These hours will remain in effect through August 31, 1944, when return should be made to present hours.

Exceptions to this general policy should be made to conform to local situations, especially in cities having staggered-hour programs; office hours in such cities should conform to recommendations of the local transportation
