The Higher Education Coordinating Board provides policy planning,
analysis, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of higher education
issues and concerns in Washington State. These functions are
performed in cooperation and consultation with the public post-secondary
institutions in the state as well as all other segments of the
higher education system. The goal of the Board is to foster a
coordinated system of post-secondary education which is efficient
in the use of resources, of high quality, responsive to changing
needs, accountable for its activities and open and available to
qualified persons regardless of race, sex, ethnic origin, or socio-economic
status.
Capital Plan Highlights
Funds are provided for distribution to higher education institutions
for the construction of classrooms to accommodate K-20 technology
improvements.
