Lowry appoints Rulli to Clark County
Superior Court
OLYMPIA - Gov. Mike Lowry today
named Vancouver attorney James. E. Rulli to a newly created seventh
position on the Clark County Superior Court. Rulli has been a
part-time commissioner of the court since 1993.
"James Rulli comes highly recommended as a person with a
solid body of criminal and civil law experience and a fair-minded
approach to justice," Lowry said. "He will make an
excellent addition to the court."
Rulli, 48, has run a private law practice in Vancouver since
1976. He is past chairman of the Criminal Defense Section of
the Clark County Bar Association and is currently serving on the
Family Law Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association.
He is also a judge pro-tem in the Clark County District and Superior
Courts. Rulli has also served on the board of the Southwest Washington
Chapter of the March of Dimes for seven years.
Rulli will begin his term July 19 and stands for re-election
this fall. He will earn $99,015.
