OLYMPIA - Gov. Mike Lowry will again host local residents for morning coffee on Thursday (Feb. 8) from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the Governor's Office Conference Room.

The Thursday event will be the second opportunity this session for citizens to visit with the governor and share their ideas and concerns. Lowry said his first coffee hour held earlier in the week was a real success.

"I heard some great ideas," Lowry said, "and I learned a lot about what is on people's minds these days. The coffee meetings are a really good way for people to tell me what they think about things, and for them to find out what's going on in state government."

Due to space limitations, anyone interested in attending must contact the governor's office by noon Wednesday (Feb. 7). Attendance will be limited to the first 40 requests.
