Locke appoints trustees to Puget Sound area college boards

OLYMPIA - Gov. Gary Locke today announced his selections for the boards of trustees of the Bellevue Community College, Cascadia Community College, Renton Technical College and Shoreline Community College.

College Board of Trustees

The board of trustees is the governing body of the college.

James B. Dagnon, of Medina, was re-appointed to the Bellevue Community College, Board of Trustees. Dagnon is a senior vice president for The Boeing Co.

Gloria Mitchell, of Bothell, was re-appointed to the Cascadia Community College, Board of Trustees. Mitchell is the administrator of Lake Hills Elementary School in Bellevue.

Diana Postlewait, of Renton, was appointed to the Renton Technical College, Board of Trustees. Postlewait is a senior program manager for Lucent Technologies.

Shoubee Liaw, of Seattle, was re-appointed to the Shoreline Community College, Board of Trustees. Liaw is a family advocate for the Shoreline School District.

All terms begin Oct. 1, 2000 and expire Sept. 30, 2005.
