Mrs. Locke feels fine and returns to Olympia

OLYMPIA — Mona Lee Locke was discharged from Swedish Medical Center at noon today, Wednesday, Jan. 27. Mrs. Locke was admitted on Jan. 26 after feeling discomfort related to her pregnancy. Gov. and Mrs. Locke are expecting their second child in March.

The governor spent Tuesday night in Swedish Medical Center with his wife and accompanied her back to their home in Olympia today. The governor then resumed his public schedule, flying to Spokane, Tri-Cities and Vancouver, WA., for previously scheduled events.

"Mona is fine, and tests showed the baby is fine," said Gov. Locke. "We know the governor's office has received many inquiries about Mona, and we are very appreciative."
