Statement by Gov. Gary Locke on today's Microsoft ruling

"In light of Judge Jackson's ruling today against Microsoft, I remain confident that Microsoft's products have greatly benefited consumers. We believe Microsoft will continue to be a center of innovation in a fast-changing marketplace.

"As the judge considers the remedies, we hope he will consider how much benefit consumers have realized from Microsoft's products and how much they will continue to receive as the company works to improve its products. We continue to support Microsoft as a leader of technology that improves people's lives through innovation."
