Gov. Gary Locke Remembers King County Council Member Kent Pullen

Gov. Gary Locke today issued the following statement on the death of King County Council member Kent Pullen:

“I am saddened by Kent’s death,” Locke said. “I worked with Kent in the state Legislature and again when I became King County Executive.

“Kent received broad support from unlikely supporters, such as labor as well as conservative and civil libertarian groups.

“He was a strong advocate for civil liberties, and I admired and respected him and appreciated his advice and counsel. We will miss him dearly.”
