Gov. Locke’s Statement on the Retirement of Senate Majority Leader Sid Snyder

Gov. Gary Locke today issued the following statement on the retirement of state Senate Majority Leader Sid Snyder:

“Sid has been an incredible senator not just for Southwest Washington but for the entire state.

“He is willing to make the tough decisions to benefit the whole state. We need more leaders like him.

“I think the world of Sid. We’ll miss his leadership, wisdom and experience, and I will miss him as a friend.”
