Gov. Locke signs 12 bills into law

OLYMPIA – Gov. Gary Locke took action today on 12 bills (listed below), approving and signing them into law during an afternoon signing ceremony at the Capitol.

  • Engrossed Substitute House Bill No. 2224
    Relating to licensing specialty producers of certain lines of insurance

  • Substitute House Bill No. 2366
    Relating to funding and expenditures of the Secretary of State

  • Second Substitute House Bill No. 2403
    Relating to labor relations at the public four-year institutions of higher education

  • Engrossed Substitute House Bill No. 2451
    Relating to transportation funding and appropriations

  • Engrossed Substitute House Bill No. 2544
    Relating to using credit history for insurance purposes

  • Second Substitute House Bill 2867
    Relating to mitigating the effects of the aquatic pesticide national pollutant discharge elimination system permit required as a result of a recent federal court decision

    Relating to allowing port employees to join more than one retirement plan subject to a labor agreement
