EXECUTIVE ORDER  83-02

Amending EO 82-17 By
Adding Additional Members to the Advisory Council
on High-Level Radioactive Waste Management Created by EO 82-17

Broader representation is needed on the Advisory Council on High-Level Radioactive Waste Management, established by Executive Order 82-17.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, John Spellman, Governor of the state of Washington, by virtue of the power vested in me, do hereby amend EO 82-17 as follows:

Nine (or more if later determined to be appropriate), rather than five, private citizens shall serve on the Advisory Council on High-Level Radioactive Waste Management.

In addition, the chair of the Advisory Council on High-Level Radioactive Waste Management and the chair of the Technical Advisory Group shall serve as ex officio members of the High-Level Nuclear Waste Management Task force.

All other terms and conditions of EO 82-17 shall remain in force.
