Gov. Gregoire reappoints three agency heads

For Immediate Release: March 29, 2005

Gov. Christine Gregoire today announced the reappointment of three agency heads.

They are:

• Brad Ack as chairman of the Puget Sound Action Team (PSAT). He has been chairman since 2003. PSAT defines and coordinates Washington�s environmental-protection agenda for Puget Sound.


• Laura Johnson as director of the Office of the Interagency Committee (OIAC). She has been director since 1992. The OIAC serves the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation and the Salmon Recovery Funding Board. The agency supports local, state and federal governments and other entities in buying, developing and renovating parks, recreational facilities, open space, and conservation and habitat sites.


• Bill Palmer as director of the Department of Services for the Blind (DSB). He has been director since 2000. DSB supports the social and economic independence of blind and visually impaired citizens.
