Gov. Gregoire�s statement on Kurt Triplett chosen as King County executive

OLYMPIA � Gov. Chris Gregoire today released the following statement on Kurt Triplett being chosen as King County executive by the King County Council:

�I congratulate Kurt Triplett on being chosen to serve as King County executive. I am certain that Kurt will serve the residents of King County well. It is a challenging time to lead, but I am confident that Kurt and his team will work hard to guide the county into the future.

�I look forward to working with Kurt. I applaud his willingness to take on this role and I wish him all the best in this important position.�
