Fisheries Management Council, North Pacific

Federal Law - 16 USC 1852 M-S Act 3

Established by the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act. Prepares fishery management plans for marine fish stocks in the North Pacific. Plans are submitted for review by the National Marine Fisheries Services and approved by the Secretary of Commerce. Includes representatives from Washington and Alaska.
