Today is Earth Day, and I suggest each of us to take a minute to think about our beautiful state and then ask: Can I do more to protect it for future generations? The fact is, every day should be earth day, and the answer from each of us should be "Yes, we can!" We've made real progress to protect our air, land, and water. But Climate Change and population growth mean we must do more, much more. And we will. I'm determined that Washington will lead the way. We will transform our economy to one of green-collar jobs that harness innovation and technology to create a greener, cleaner Washington.
