| Agency History: | Originally known as "Squire City", the area was first settled by John Shriner and Charles O. Squire in 1886. Squire platted the area in 1889, naming it Squire City. The name was changed in 1892, after a train depot for the Spokane Falls & Northern Railroad was built and named Springdale. The Town of Springdale was incorporated in 1903 and is located in Stevens County. |
