Title Info: Muriel Little, Scrapbooks, 1977

These two scrapbooks were created by Senate Hostess Muriel K. Little during the 1977 legislative session. There are 22 pages in the first scrapbook, 22 pages in the second scrapbook, and 41 loose items. The cover for the first scrapbook measures 12 x 10 inches, and each page measures 12 x 9.5 inches. The cover for the second scrapbook measures 12 x 10 inches, and each page measures 12 x 9.5 inches. It includes various items related to the legislative session including clippings, correspondence, documents, illustrations, invitations, newspapers, pamphlets, photographs, postcards, programs, and various ephemera. Dominant subjects include the forty-fifth legislature, Governor Dixy Lee Ray, the Capitol drug probe, bomb threats, the retirement of Assistant State Treasurer, Jack Taylor, and the appointment of Jim Bender as a state Horse Racing Commission member.

Some items include multiple pages, such as brochures, booklets, and periodicals. These items are given an item name, followed by a page number (ex: “p003_a_08” is page 8 of item a on page 3 of the scrapbook).
