Agency History: | Bucoda is a small town located in Thurston County approximately 20 miles south of Olympia. Incorporated in 1910, Bucoda adheres to a Mayor-Council form of government. Originally known as Seatco, the town was later renamed Bucoda using the first two initials of three principle investors in the local industry boom of the late nineteenth century. |
