Notes from transcriber Maggie Rail, Aug 02, 2001, last edited Jun 20, 2008:
“This cemetery is right in the Bossburg community, on the west side of the Hwy 25 and north of Marcus 5 or 6 miles and north of Evans a mile or so. It may be hard to see from the highway, watch for the fence. It is south of and adjoining one of the first homes. You will take a dirt road into it.”
“The Bossburg cemetery is still in use and cared for by the families. There is no one keeping records at the present time, so I cannot list someone to contact. There seemed to be several unmarked graves, I did not count.”
“I surveyed this cemetery Aug 02, 2001. I used my digital camera, so for any that I have a good photo of, I will gladly share. Some had to be hand written.”
