Introduction:
These records include indexes and some images of marriage certificates (1867-2008), marriage licenses (1877-1888), and marriage applications (1976-2008) recorded by the Snohomish County Auditor from 1867 to 2008. The bulk of the scanned certificates are 1873-1919 and 1968-1985. There are some certificates currently available as scanned images for 1941, 1951-1952, 1958, and 1967. There are gaps in the records for the following years, 1948-1950, 1953-1956, 1960-1964, 1993, 2000-2003, and 2006.

Snohomish County government was organized in 1861. The county seat is Everett.
