Roadmap for Salmon Habitat Conservation at the Watershed Level picks up where the earlier Guidance on Watershed Assessment for Salmon (May 2001), ends. The Roadmap will help local groups take the key steps needed for salmon habitat conservation in their watershed. It provides information on components and steps needed to conserve salmon habitat in a watershed. Information on how these steps can be taken is provided with the understanding that local groups can and will need to tailor these steps for their watershed. Development of the Roadmap was coordinated by the Governor's Salmon Recovery Office and has been endorsed by the Joint Natural Resources Cabinet.
