Introduction	These records include Ordinances 1 through 1763, C-1 through C-448, M-165, and M-365 through M-3681 adopted by the Vancouver City Council during meetings from 1858-1952, 1954, 1957-2004. Ordinances passed by the City Council are the laws that govern the city and are normally codified into a Municipal Code. Records include ordinance number, type or legal details, and date. The ordinances in this collection are indexed numerically. Ordinances in this collection may have been repealed, superseded, amended, or otherwise had their legal effect altered by subsequent actions of the city council. Those interested in the current City Code should consult the city’s main office. The City of Vancouver is located in Clark County. It was incorporated in 1857. All records are in English.
