| Introduction |
Educational Service District 101 supports "59 public school districts and 45 state-approved private schools in seven counties in eastern Washington (Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Orielle, Spokane, Stevens, and Whitman)," (see http://www.esd101.net/16961071517331553/site/default.asp). Early school records dating back to the late 19th, through the early 1960s, and a limited amount of graphics and photographs are available at the Washington State Archives, Eastern Region, Cheney, WA.
