These records include marriage certificates recorded by the Pacific County Auditor from 1872-1947 and marriage applications and certificates from 1996-present.
Copies of marriage certificates, 1872-1947, were digitized, indexed, and submitted to the Digital Archives by the Washington State Archives, Southwest Region Branch from their Pacific County Auditor records holdings. Electronic copies of marriage applications and certificates, 1996-present, were transferred directly to the Washington State Archives, Digital Archives from the Pacific County Auditor, who transfers recently recorded documents monthly. Pacific County government was organized in 1851 by the Oregon Territorial Legislature. The county seat is South Bend. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
