These records include marriage applications and certificates recorded by the Klickitat County Auditor from 1867 to the present.
Copies of marriage records, 1867-1893, and marriage certificates, 1893-1997, were digitized, indexed, and submitted to the Digital Archives by the Washington State Archives, Central Region Branch from their Klickitat County Auditor records holdings. Electronic copies of marriage applications and certificates, 1988-present, were transferred directly to the Washington State Archives, Digital Archives from the Klickitat County Auditor, who transfers recently recorded documents monthly. Klickitat County was established in 1859 from part of Skamania County. Goldendale is the county seat. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
