| Introduction |
This database contains information on Island County marriage licenses extracted from listings in area newspapers, but a few were issued in surrounding counties for Island County residents. The resulting marriages (if they did occur) could have taken place anywhere in the state of Washington. The data was compiled from 1996-2006 by Ralph Seefeld, Archivist at the Genealogical Society of South Whidbey Island.
