Introduction	These records include indexing and some images of marriage returns, 1900-1910, marriage applications, 1900-2009, and marriage certificates, 1911-2009, recorded by the Chelan County Auditor from 1900 to 2009. The bulk of the records are between 1900 and 2008. These records also include Community Property Agreements from 1974 to 1988 recorded by the Chelan County Auditor. Copies of marriage returns, 1900-1910, and marriage certificates, 1911-2003 were digitized, indexed, and submitted to the Digital Archives by the Washington State Archives, Central Regional Branch from their Chelan County Auditor record holdings. Electronic copies of marriage applications, 1900-2008, marriage certificates, 2004-2009, and community property agreements, 1974 to 1988, were transferred directly from the Chelan County Auditor. Chelan County government was organized in 1899 from parts of Okanogan and Kittitas counties. Wenatchee is the county seat. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
