These records include indexes (1987-2006) and some images (1997-2004) of documents recorded with the Kitsap County Auditor from 1987 to 2006. The miscellaneous recordings are records the county auditor has not categorized into an existing Digital Archives created series.

Learn about the different types of auditors’ records in Washington and what could be included in those records by selecting the tab that says "About this Collection” here The Washington Territorial Legislature created Kitsap County in 1857. It was originally named Slaughter County in honor of Lt. William Slaughter who died in 1855 during the Indian Wars and it was once part of King and Jefferson counties. The county is a peninsula located on the west side of Puget Sound. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
