Agency History: | Named after a band of Pisquows, the City of Wenatchee was established when Samuel C. Miller and the Freer brothers, Franklin and David, established the Wenatchee Trading Post in the early 1870s. The City of Wenatchee was incorporated in 1892 and is the county seat of Chelan County. |
