Introduction	These records include the minutes of the meetings of the Whitman County Board of Commissioners from February 05, 1872 – February 18, 1929. Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the County Commissioners. Minutes may include date, council members present, summary of official reports from various departments and city offices, budget approvals, and other County business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. Whitman County is located in Southeast Washington State in an area which includes the Palouse.
