This title includes indexes and images of land records recorded with the Lewis County Auditor between 1974 and the present. These documents relate primarily to the business of real estate and land ownership. Images are not available for documents displaying confidential information. Please note the current year may not be complete. The Lewis County Auditor transfers records periodically.
For the best search results, search by name of the grantor or grantee, it is also possible to search by year. Learn about the different types of land records in Washington and what could be included in those records by selecting the tab that says "About this Collection” here In 1845, the Provisional Government of Oregon divided the District of Vancouver into two large counties, all land north of the Columbia and west of the Cowlitz Rivers was designated Lewis County. Today the county is reduced in size. The county seat is Chehalis. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
