These records include the minutes of the Richland Irrigation District Board meetings from April 01, 1919 through November 27, 1951.
Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the Board. Minutes may include date, members present, summary of official reports from various departments, budget approvals, and other board business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. The Richland Irrigation District was located in Benton County, Washington. It was formed on April 1, 1919. In early 1943, the district's properties were taken over by the federal government and were placed under the Manhattan District of the United States Army for use as an atomic energy facility. However, the District was not officially dissolved until September, 1961. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
