| Introduction |
These records include the resolutions of the Kitsap County Consolidated Health District from February 1, 1973 through September 9, 2008.
Resolutions are official or formal statements of determination, decision, or opinion passed by a council, commission, or board on matters before that body. The resolutions in this collection are indexed by date and by resolution number. The Kitsap County Health District was organized as a full-time public health agency in 1943. The City of Bremerton joined the Kitsap County to form the Bremerton-Kitsap County Health District in 1947. The Board of Health, composed of county and city elected officials, supervises the policy and budget of the Health District. In 2002 the Board voted to change its name to Kitsap County Health District effective in 2004, but began using the name in 2002. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
