| Introduction |
These records include the minutes of the Port of Anacortes Industrial Development Corporation’s meetings from April 6, 1982 through January 11, 1990.
Minutes are the official record of the proceedings of the corporation. Minutes may include date, board members present, summary of official reports, budget approvals, and other port business. The records in this collection are indexed by date. The Industrial Development Corporation is a public corporation created by city ordinance, as authorized in RCW 39.84, for the purpose of facilitating economic development and employment opportunities within the city. See City of Anacortes Ordinance 1871, 1, 1982. The Port of Anacortes’ five member Port Commission serves as the Board of Directors for the Industrial Development Corporation. The Port of Anacortes is located in Skagit County and was established in 1926. All records are in English. These records are open for research.
