The City of Bainbridge Island is located in Kitsap County. Originally incorporated in 1947 as the Town of Winslow, it became the City of Winslow in 1969. In 1990, Winslow annexed all of Bainbridge Island and the following year changed its name to the City of Bainbridge Island.
