| Introduction |
These records include the resolutions enacted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of King County Fire Protection District #43, also known as Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety, for meetings from August 9, 1955, through December 21, 2006. The first ten resolutions are not in this collection. From 1955 through May of 2000, the resolutions are numbered 11 to 366. Beginning with Resolution 366 (R00-02), the numbering system changed. From September 2000 through 2006, resolutions number from R-00-03 to R-06-05.
Several resolutions are found within the minutes. An unnumbered resolution pertaining to purchasing Federal Surplus Property was presented and signed at the April 17, 1984, meeting. Numbers 22, 29, 38, 92,101,307,329, R-04-03, R-04-09 were not used. Resolution 04-02 may have been miss-numbered as R-04-06. Resolution R-04-06, concerning Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety’s Mitigation Plan, was first presented as Resolution R-04-02 at the June 24, 2004 meeting.

The resolutions in this collection are indexed by date and by resolution number. The King County Fire Protection District #43, also known as Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety, is located in Maple Valley, in South East King County. It was formed in 1952.
