The miscellaneous records are records the county auditor has not categorized into an existing Digital Archives created series. The Cowlitz County Auditor transfers recently recorded documents monthly. Please note the current year may not be complete. For the best search results, search by name of the grantor or grantee. It was named in honor of the Cowlitz tribe. Cowlitz County was organized from Lewis County and was one of the first counties created by Washington’s first Territorial Legislature. It is located in the southwestern part of the state. All records are in English. These records are open for research. |
